Integrations and API

Integrations and API: what Synngate Loyalty connects to

What Synngate Loyalty connects to: the till, your ERP system, the store website, e-mail, push notifications and Moldovan payment terminals. And an honest note on what is configured per project.

Any loyalty system integration comes down to the till and the accounting system. Synngate Loyalty has its own till, an open API for tills and platform connectors to ERP systems. Whatever depends on your environment, we agree in the project.

The till and the open POS API

The Synngate till works with loyalty out of the box. Other tills can use an open API: a receipt goes through four method-steps, and a key is issued per point of sale, so another store's key is refused.

  1. Connection check

The till makes sure the center is reachable.

  2. Identification

The customer is found by card, phone or code.

  3. Calculation

The response: line prices with the source rule, gifts, preliminary bonuses, messages.

  4. Confirmation

The receipt is posted; until then the calculation can be cancelled.

The calculation response also lists the rules that did not apply, with the first unmet condition. This shows why a discount did not work. The API documentation is in OpenAPI format.

The Synngate till

The till makes loyalty part of the sale, not a separate step. Around it, what a store in Moldova needs is already connected.

  • Cloud fiscalization for Moldova
  • 7 bank terminal protocols and MIA QR
  • 7 scale models and 18 receipt printer models
  • 16 product search modes, interface in Romanian, Russian and English
  • Sales and shift closing work without a connection

Three store modes

Center

The till calls the center directly over HTTPS. Receipt calculation takes about 0.1 s.

Store node

A local service with a copy of the rules calculates the receipt on site, in about 8 ms. If the link drops, receipts queue up and are resent.

Core inside the till

Calculation runs inside the till process, with no separate service and no network.

The till does not stop a sale because of loyalty. Rule changes reach the store within seconds.

The ERP module and the move to the web center

From the ERP module to the web center without losing history

The loyalty module runs inside your ERP system. When the chain needs a shared center, customers, identifiers, groups, the product catalog, special prices and rules are transferred. We check the calculation against the old one on real receipts.

Exchange with your ERP system is built on platform connectors; what is sent and in which direction we agree together.

From the ERP module to the web center without losing history

If you already have an ERP system, the loyalty module needs no separate server. We do not promise that the exchange "turns on with one button": its content depends on your system, and we describe it before work starts.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to change my till?

No, if you connect your own through the API. The Synngate till gives you loyalty with no extra development.

What happens if the connection drops?

Sales do not stop: the store node or the core inside the till calculates the receipt and the data is resent later.

Where do I get the documentation?

The API specification in OpenAPI format is handed to your team at connection time.
